Popular Nigerian musician and many award winners Wizkid, made a speech during on interview with UK based media outlet, The Guardian. While calling on his fellow Nigerians to speak up against people in the government.
“I’m about to go crazy on their asses this coming general election. All these old men are going out for power as usual with nothing to give in return. They need to go to an old people’s home and chill out” he said.
Advising old politicians to leave the political scene, the grammy Award winner vowed to pressurize them out of power in next year’s general election.
He also stated that” There’s nothing worth celebrating in the country, unless on individual achievement in entertainment, sports and various aspects and I’m really proud of them”.
He went ahead saying, there was a time when you never speak to the president like that, but now you have a voice to speak freely.
